JAKARTA, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry Todotua Pasaribu, who also serves as deputy head of the Investment Coordinating Board, said on Thursday the government has set an investment target of 13,000 trillion rupiahs (approximately 802.1 billion U.S. dollars) over the next five years to drive economic growth.
Pasaribu said that the target was ambitious but achievable through comprehensive efforts and strong collaboration with various stakeholders.
"In the next five years, we have a target of 13,000 trillion rupiahs in investment realization," he said in Jakarta.
He added that the goal was aligned with President Prabowo Subianto's directive to support an economic growth of 8 percent. ■
