CAIRO, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian top prosecutor Nabil Sadeq on Thursday ordered Aisha el-Shater, daughter of a Brotherhood's top leader, and five others in custody for 15 days pending investigations.

The six suspects are accused of joining a terrorist group that incited public disorder to harm the national economy, official news agency MENA reported.

Aisha el-Shater is daughter of the imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood's businessman tycoon and the group's deputy Supreme Guide, Khairat el-Shater.

According to initial investigations, Aisha el-Shater and the other five suspects are charged with receiving funds to finance acts of terrorism, the report added.

Since the army-led ouster of the Islamist leader Mohamed Morsi in 2013 in response to mass protests against his one-year rule, thousands of his loyalists have been jailed or facing trials over accusations of inciting terror, espionage and murder.

Morsi himself along with the Brotherhood prominent figures have received sentences varied from death to life sentences in cases related to the killing of protesters and spying for foreign countries.
